Who we are
Inclusive Solutions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in North Carolina. Our website is inclusivesolutionsnp.org. You can reach us through the contact form or by emailing contact@inclusivesolutionsnp.org.
What we collect, and why
We only ask for information that helps us actually do something for you. Specifically:
When you use the contact form
- Your name, email, and (optionally) phone number — so we can reply.
- The county you live in — so we know which local programs may apply.
- The first name of the person you’re asking about, if you’re writing on someone else’s behalf.
- Accessibility preferences you tell us about (e.g. plain-language replies, AAC user, no phone calls) — so we communicate the way that works for you.
- The message itself.
Form submissions are emailed to a small group of staff inboxes via Resend, our email delivery service. That’s it — we don’t put them in a CRM, share them with partners, or use them to target ads.
When you make a donation
- Your name, email, and billing details — collected and processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- The donation amount and frequency (one-time or monthly).
We keep a record of donations so we can issue receipts, comply with IRS reporting requirements, and stay in touch with supporters. We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information.
When you just visit the site
We don’t use third-party advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for short periods to protect against abuse. We do not build profiles on visitors.
How we use it
- To reply to your message or process your donation.
- To follow up about the help you asked for.
- To send occasional newsletters or event announcements — only if you specifically asked to be added to that list.
- To meet legal and tax-reporting obligations (donation receipts, IRS Form 990).
That’s the complete list. If we ever want to use your information for something else, we’ll ask you first.
Who sees your information
The short version: us, and the services that help us run the site.
- Our staff — only the people who need to read your message to respond to it.
- Stripe — processes donations. See their privacy policy.
- Resend — delivers contact-form emails. See their privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider — runs the servers that serve this website.
- Legal authorities — only if required by law (subpoena, court order, etc.). We will tell you if this happens unless legally prevented from doing so.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with marketers, advertisers, data brokers, or partner organizations.
Your choices
You can, at any time, ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Delete your contact-form submissions and remove you from any communication lists.
- Stop emailing you (you can also click “unsubscribe” in any newsletter).
Email contact@inclusivesolutionsnp.org with the request. We aim to respond within 14 days. Note: donation records may need to be retained for tax-compliance reasons even after deletion of other information — but we can stop using that data for any non-required purpose immediately.
Children’s information
Our services are for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please email us and we will delete it.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Stripe and Resend handle payment and email data with industry-standard encryption. No system is perfect — if we ever experience a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify recent contacts and donors by email. The current version always lives at this URL.
